L.E. ARGUED THAT THE COUPON SHOULD BE HONORED BECAUSE IT DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY EXCLUSIONS AND IF REFUSED MUST SURELY BE CONSIDERED TO BE FALSE ADVERTISING.
MR. MIELE STEADFASTLY REFUSED TO HONOR THE COUPON AND AGREED THAT L.E. SHOULD PURSUE HIS GRIEVEANCE WITH BBB, DMV, ETC
L.E. IS DOING SO.
While it is apparently usual that an RV is considered a heavy duty vehicle and has a higher charge for a smog test, L.E. believes that the advertisement should contain an exclusion to that effect.
L.E. believes that it is unreasonable that an R.V'er drives his machine [at 8mpg or so] across town to save a few $$ by using the coupon, yet, when he requests the coupon service he is refused.
In Nevada we no longer have a Consumer Affairs Division, so L.E. conjectures that folks such as Purrfect will continue to deceive.
