POLL REGARDING GASOLINE PURCHASES.
Interestingly 37% of respondents spend more than $300 per month on gas for their vehicles. A further 25% spend between $251 and $300. L.E. is perhaps lucky as he typically spends “only” $150-200 per month.
L.E. wonders how fuel efficient are the vehicles we drive. Please take today’s poll and we shall find out.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE:
L.E. Fant often pillories businesses which have treated him poorly, such as Cox cable. However, where praise is due L.E. gives it.
L.E. has purchased boxes from Box Brothers (Sahara and Torrey Pines) on a few occasions, Monday being the most recent. He needed a box (or as it turned out two boxes) in which to send the bears and other stuff to his grand daughters in Australia. The size of the boxes is restricted by postal regulations. The Box brother took all the time necessary to provide L..E. with boxes to suit his need. One box had to be cut down and re made to suit. Mr. Box cheerfully did all this at no extra charge. The boxes only cost $6.99 for the two! However, the Post Office took $140 to deliver them.
If you need boxes for moving or any purpose, L.E. recommends these guys as they are great to deal with.

Their website indicates that they are open on Sundays—They are not!!
TATA, LANDROVER/ JAGUAR:
Today L.E. is informed that the Indian company Tata has concluded the purchase of Landrover and Jaguar from Ford. It will be interesting to see how the brands fare under new ownership.
